I'm on a nostalgia kick and looking for books I read and enjoyed as an older child/preteen.  There were three in particular I was looking for, and I've remembered two out of the three but the third eludes me.

Last one, I promise, but can anyone remember the name / website of a photographer who recreates photographs of people as children? His website shows the original photo, and then his version, with the model posed exactly the same way, in almost exactly the same clothes and situation. I swear i had it bookmarked but cant find it anywhere!!

I've been looking through the tags and doing google searches, but I can't find the specific AMA post I'm looking for. I don't recall the exact question, but it involved people listing their favorite hippy names. Pretty sure it was made within the last year, not that that narrows it down a whole lot.

Here's what I know about it.

Hubs read it in the late 70's-early 80's what he remembers is driving across the desert in search of a lost city or something, traveling in a Rolls Royce where the heat was so hot the paint was peeling back on the car. He thinks it was a female author.
